John Roeser, a commercial real estate leader for more than 25 years, is known for his ability to size up markets, create opportunities and close deals.
Before co-founding Triton, he held executive positions at European American Realty Ltd. and American Landmark Properties Ltd., two Chicago-based private investment real estate companies with national portfolios. For both firms, he oversaw all aspects of leasing, management, construction, due diligence, acquisitions and dispositions. He also played a key role in procuring debt and equity for asset purchases, recapitalizations and refinancing.
To date, Roeser has spearheaded due diligence, acquisition or disposition, and refinancing or recapitalization for more than 10 million square feet of properties throughout the United States. His notable deals include Willis Tower in Chicago; 470 Vanderbilt in Brooklyn; Two Gateway in Newark, New Jersey; 1100 Superior Ave. in Cleveland; and a 32-building portfolio in the Northeast. Together his financing transactions exceed $2.5 billion.
Roeser has worked with major debt and equity partners throughout his career. These groups include UBS, JP Morgan, The Chetrit Group, David Werner, The Carlton Group, Paramount, Banque Worms, Cornerstone, PNC, RCG Longview and The Bank of Oklahoma.
On the leasing side, Roeser has worked with many of the country’s leading commercial real estate firms and brokers. He has completed more than 5 million square feet of deals for clients such as AT&T, Cliffs Natural Resources, Comcast, Emblem Health, First American Title, Hartford Insurance, Oswald Companies, Prudential Insurance, The Riverside Companies, SNR Denton and Staples.
